The Factory
Located at 222 S 3rd Street in Ironton, the Factory is a combination of two historic buildings the Brumberg, built in 1906 and the Berg, built in 1867.
History of The Factory
The Brumberg building was originally a cigar factory, in 1932 A.J. Brumburg purchased the building to create a clothing factory and house the premier department store in a growing downtown business district in Ironton. Over the years it has changed ownership and services.
The future of Ironton
The Factory looks to anchor the revitalization of Ironton and help to grow a new retail, restaurant, and residential hub for Lawrence County.
